- That trip was to England and Scotland, where I learned to take advantage of all the experiences I could fit in. Staying with a sweet little Scottish lady who was renting rooms in her apartment. Back then I paid 50 pence to use the bath. There were still shortages, but people were as generous as they could be.
- I have also done a few cruses. That is an experience all in it’s own. I fell in love with Bermuda, would go back in a second. There was the cruses to Jamaka. You have not lived until you experience the Straw Market.
- Took my son on the Disney Cruses for his 7th birthday. We spent three days at sea, and 4 at Disney Land. I had no worries about my child being on his own for some actives, there were crew members all around keeping watch. He had a blast. He had such a blast that he is taking the whole family again this May.
Travel as a single or a group.
It was this past September I went to Ireland, again by myself. If you have no one to travel with, there are sites on the internet with groups of singles to travel with, and if it’s a tour, there will be lots others there. Ireland was fantastic and we only had rain when we toured the Atlantic coast at the Cliffs of Mohr.
